Senator John McCain Plans Grand Forks Stop

The ranking member of the Senate's Armed Services Committee was invited by Senator John Hoeven according to a statement from the higher education system.

Sen. John McCain (R-Arizona) will visit the University of North Dakota Thursday to tour the school's unmanned aircraft system program.

The ranking member of the Senate's Armed Services Committee was invited by Sen. John Hoeven according to a statement from the higher education system.

McCain will then campaign for U.S. Senate candidate Rick Berg and other Republican candidates at the Canad Inn. The event begins at 5:30 p.m. with doors opening at 5 p.m.

The event is free and open to the public.
