Large Grass Fire East Of Moorhead

Sheriff Bill Bergquist says the fire was located about four miles north of Highway 10, along Minnesota Highway 32.

 

 

 

 

Firefighters battled a large grass Tuesday afternoon in Clay County.

Sheriff Bill Bergquist says the fire was located about four miles north of Highway 10, along Minnesota Highway 32. The Highway was closed in the area due to dense smoke.

Crews from Hitterdal, Ulen, Hawley, the U.S. Fish and Wildlife Service and the Minnesota DNR responded to the blaze.
