Itasca Co. Sheriff Investigates Party Death

Itasca County sheriff's officials say they're investigating the death a teenager found unresponsive at a hunting camp party.

 

 

 

 

BALSAM TOWNSHIP, Minn. (AP) - Itasca County sheriff's officials say they're investigating the death a teenager found unresponsive at a hunting camp party.

Deputies have identified the victim as 18-year-old Steven Shields-Moreno from Nashwauk.

Investigators say they continue to interview people who were at the party and that there were nearly 100 who attended. The teen was found unresponsive early Sunday.

Authorities say results of an autopsy should help determine the cause of death.
