Pelican Rapids Woman Dies In Crash

The state patrol says 87-year-old Eileen D. Johnson of Pelican Rapids died.

 

 

 

 

A Pelican Rapids woman was killed and another person was injured when a vehicle left the road and ended up in a slough near Rollag. The accident happened around 5:30 yesterday afternoon on State Highway 32.

The State Patrol says 87-year-old Eileen D. Johnson of Pelican Rapids died. 83-year-old Ervin M. Johnson was taken to Sanford in Fargo and treated for hypothermia.

The State Patrol is investigating if weather was a factor. The pavement had patches of ice and packed snow.
