By any stretch of the imagination, it was quite a party friday night at a baseball park in Frisco, Texas for the Bison pep rally leading up to the Saturday noon kickoff between N-D-S-U and Sam Houston State for the F-C-S championship.

The N-D-S-U Alumni Association had an official count of 8200 fans packed into the baseball park turned "party central" by 8 Friday night. But Frisco Mayor Maher Maso tells KFGO the party continued until about 10 and he estimates the crowd at around 9,000. Maso says the atmosphere was "eletrifying."

Maso also plans to be meeting Bison fans at Tailgate Town outside the stadium prior to Saturday's game and will be on the field as Drew Pearson, former Dallas Cowboy great makes the coin toss.
