Cass County Auditor Predicts Turnout Of 72,000 Voters

About 10,000 people took the absentee voting route while another 18,000 used the early voting option at the three precincts where it was offered last week.

While people will be lining up for the polls on Tuesday, the absentee ballot preparation at Cass Co. Courthouse will be tallied up.

County auditor Mike Montplaisir says the process of counting the ballots should go smoothly. The potential holdup will be the travel-time from rural precincts.

About 10,000 people took the absentee voting route while another 18,000 used the early voting option at the three precincts where it was offered last week. Montplaisir looks for a total of about 72,000 about the same as four years ago.
