The mother of a former Perham student who collapsed during a basketball game in 2011 has written a book.

Meridee Gabbard's book is called "You're Never Promised Another Day."

She started writing the book shortly after her son had a heart attack during a 2011 Perham basketball game.

Her son has since recovered and is now attending community college in Fergus Falls.
