Assault Investigation Involves NDSU Softball Team

KFGO News has learned that NDSU Police are investigating an assault involving members of the NDSU womens' softball team.

 

 

 

 

KFGO News has learned that NDSU Police are investigating an assault involving members of the NDSU womens' softball team.

University Police and Safety Office Director Ray Boyer says he can't talk about the case, but Boyer confirms there is an open, active investigation.

Head softball coach Darren Mueller says police have been questioning team members and he says disciplinary action will be taken against everyone responsible.

The number of team members involved in the assault is unclear. A police report has been sent to the Cass County States Attorney's office for possible charges.
