Valeu Elected New ND Democratic Chairman

Bob Valeu is the new chairman of North Dakota's Democratic party.

Bismarck, N.D. (AP)  Bob Valeu is the new chairman of North Dakota's Democratic party.
 
The party's District Chairmen and other officials picked Valeu as their new chairman during a meeting last week in Bismarck. He replaces Greg Hodur.
 
Valeu served as State Director for former Democratic Senator Byron Dorgan. Valeu is a graduate of the University of North Dakota and an Air Force veteran.
