NDSU Beats James Madison In Penn. Tourney 66-44

PITTSBURGH (AP) - Taylor Braun scored 19 points and TrayVonn Wright added 12 and North Dakota State closed out the 2012 Progressive Legends Classic subregional round with a 66-44 win over James Madison on Wednesday.

Braun, who was 6 of 10 from the field, knocked down three 3-pointers and recorded team-highs in rebounds and assists.

North Dakota State opened the game in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania on a 7-2 run but saw the Dukes rally and take a 20-19 lead with 6:16 left in the half.

But James Madison converted just one field goal over the final six minutes and Braun scored eight of NDSU's final 10 points of the half as the Bison entered intermission with a 34-24 advantage.

North Dakota State, which shot 55 percent in the second half, held James Madison to 15-of-46 shooting for the game.
