Wild Goalie Diagnosed with MS

(St. Paul, MN) -- Minnesota Wild goalie Josh Harding is battling multiple sclerosis. The team revealed the diagnosis and says the 28-year-old is undergoing treatment.

MS is an unpredictable disease of the central nervous system, with the immune system incorrectly attacking healthy tissue.

It can cause problems with vision, balance, speech, fatigue, memory loss and more.

Harding was 13-12-and-4 with two shutouts and a 2.62 goals-against average in 34 games for the Wild last season.
