SELBY, S.D. (AP) - A Nebraska man is being treated at a North Dakota hospital after a hunting accident in northern South Dakota.
Walworth County Chief Deputy Josh Boll says the 70-year-old man was accidentally shot by someone in his pheasant hunting party Sunday in the Selby area. He says the man is being treated at a Bismarck, N.D., hospital for injuries that are not life-threatening.
The man's name was not immediately released. Boll says he does not expect any charges to be filed in the case.
Weekend hunting accidents also were reported earlier in Davison and Miner counties.
