A winter weather advisory is in effect from 1 a.m. to 9 p.m Thursday.

The National Weather Service reports: 

Tonight...Rain likely in the evening. Snow likely late in the evening...then rain or snow after midnight. Snow accumulation of 1 to 4 inches. Lows 30 to 35. North winds 15 to 25 mph. Chance of precipitation 90 percent.

Thursday...cloudy. Light snow in the morning...then chance of light snow in the afternoon. Blowing and drifting snow through the day. Snow accumulation of 1 to 4 inches. Total snow accumulation 2 to 8 inches. Highs in the mid 30s. Windy. Northwest winds 20 to 30 mph. Chance of snow 80 percent.

Thursday night...mostly cloudy with a 20 percent chance of snow. Lows 25 to 30. Northwest winds 15 to 25 mph.

Friday...mostly cloudy. Highs 35 to 40.

Friday night...partly cloudy. Lows in the mid 20s.

Saturday...partly sunny. Highs in the mid 40s.
