Chancellor Says Senator's Words "Uncalled For"

Ham Shirvani has been involved in a war of words with state senator Tony Grindberg.

 

 

 

 

The chancellor of the North Dakota University System says he's not going anywhere. Ham Shirvani has been involved in a war of words with state senator Tony Grindberg.

The Fargo Republican wants to buy out Shirvani's contract. He says Shirvani is a questionable leader who's created an environment of fear and retaliation. Shirvani told KFGO's Joel Heitkamp that he has the higher ed board's full support.

Shirvani says he thinks Grindberg's actions are "personal" and "uncalled for." Shirvani has been at the helm of the university system for only seven months.
