A Hendrum, Minn. woman injured in a fiery head-on crash north of Moorhead Tuesday night is improving.
Doris Underlee, 79, is in satisfactory condition. A condition report is still not available on her husband, Nolan Underlee, 83, or the other driver, Brianna Pallotta, 25, of Minot.
Pallotta's car crossed the center-line of Highway 75 and struck the Underlee vehicle. Her car started on fire and she was rescued by a Clay County Sheriff's Deputy and passersby. It's believed she had been drinking.
Charges could be filed against Pallotta depending on the results of a blood test. Pallotta has two drunk driving convictions, and three convictions for driving under suspension.
