Cancer Victim Takes Dream Vacation

A West Fargo teenager diagnosed with terminal cancer got the vacation of his dreams thanks to community support.

A West Fargo teenager diagnosed with terminal cancer got the vacation of his dreams thanks to community support.

Ian Alves was diagnosed with a desmoplastic small round cell tumor in may of 2011 and recently developed an aggressive form of leukemia.

This past weekend, the 16-year-old and his family enjoyed a distraction from all of that with a vacation to orlando, complete with a visit to disney world.

His family says the experience was "magical."
