Residents Forced Into Cold In Moorhead Apartment Fire

The fire was at 2408 3rd Ave. So. It broke out shortly before 11pm Thursday.

Some tense moments in a north moorhead apartment fire.

It was at 2408 3rd ave. north and was reported just before 11pm Thursday.

Some people were escaping out windows when they arrived on the scene.

No serious injuries reported. One person had an ankle injury.

There is extensive fire damage to a ground floor apartment, where the fire is believed to have started.

There's some smoke damage throughout the building..but it was hoped that most tenants would be able to return to their apartments.

Investigators say the fire was caused by a pan left on the stove.
