The world's best known UFO investigator pays a visit to the area this weekend.

Nuclear physicist Stanton Friedman is a keynote speaker at the annual Paragon Convention in Mahnomen. An author and lecturer, Friedman has been conducting research into UFO's since the late 1950's. His conclusion: aliens have been visited and governments have spent the past half century covering it up.

He says most UFO's are not flying saucers but he says a few people within major governments have known since at least 1947 that some UFO's are alien spacecrafts. He calls the government cover up a "cosmic Watergate."

Friedman's lecture with a question and answer segement to follow starts at 1 p.m. Friday at the Shooting Star Casino.
