Minnesota Legislature Back At Work

Bi-partisan cooperation was the theme on the first day of the Minnesota Legislature, although republicans and democrats did have an argument on the house floor over committee assignments.

 

 

 

 

Bi-partisan cooperation was the theme on the first day of the Minnesota Legislature, although republicans and democrats did have an argument on the house floor over committee assignments.

Senate DFL Majority Leader Tom Bakk says lawmakers will have their differences, but the goal should be solutions and common ground -- not obstruction and gridlock.

New Senate Minority Leader David Hann pledged republicans will offer their suggestions in a "gentle, constructive way" during the 2013 session.
