GFAFB Could Get Tankers Back

A tanker mission could be returning to the Grand Forks Air Force Base.

A tanker mission could be returning to the Grand Forks Air Force Base.

The North Dakota Congressional Delegation says the base is one of four finalists for an aerial refueling tanker mission.

The base had transitioned to an unmanned aerial vehicle center.

The Air Force is expected to make a decision in May.
