Fargo is preparing for another round of potential flooding with the National Weather Service expected to increase the chances of a significant spring flood.

KFGO'S Don Haney reports that the city has been told to prepare for a potential river level of 37.5 feet. There's a 50-50 chance of that.

City Administrator Pat Zavoral says sandbag central will again be activated to fill up to 500,000 sandbags. The city already has about 750,000 sandbags in reserve.

The change in the flood forecast is a result of the two recent storms that brought additional snow and added to the moisture content in the snowpack in the southern Red River Basin.
