The creators of "Ghosts of North Dakota" have taken their project documenting ghost towns and abandoned sites across the state to a new level.
Terry Hinnenkamp and Troy Larson of Fargo have published a book featuring some of their photo's.
For nearly ten years, the two have criss-crossed the back roads of the state visiting the long forgotten sites and posting photos of more than 100 locations on their "Ghosts of North Dakota' web site.
Hinnenkamp says the goal is find the sites before they disappear altogether.
He says a passion for preserving a part of North Dakota's vanishing history is like a "bad addiction."
The 88-page, full color, coffee-table book goes on sale Friday on their website, "GhostsofNorthDakota.com".
