Man Accused Of Nursing Home Sexual Assaults
A 22-year old man is being held at the Polk County jail, in connection with a sexual assault outside the Villia St. Vincent nursing home in Crookston.

A 22-year old man is being held at the Polk County jail, in connection with a sexual assault outside the Villia St. Vincent nursing home in Crookston.
Jason Cortez of Crookston faces five criminal counts, including the sexual assault of a female employee and terroristic threats.
According to the criminal complaint, in November, Cortez, a former employee of the Villa went out to his pickup with the female employee to have a cigarette.
He punched her in the face repeatedly and raped her.
The victim never told anyone, until later.
Then, last week Cortez forced the woman into a linen closet at the nursing home, slapped her up, covered her mouth, while telling her how much he loved her, and said he had a gun.
Cortez let her go and the woman reported it.
Police, say Cortez admitted the crimes, while being questioned.
Cortez made his initial court appearance yesterday and is being held at the Polk County Jail without bail.
