Fargo Public Works crews should have the core of the downtown cleaned up today, from the mess left by sunday's blizzard.
They've been removing mountains of snow, first on the streets and then the avenues downtown the past two nights.
Supervisor Lee Anderson says it's a challenge.
He estimates public works removed more than 500 truckloads of snow from the downtown area.
A few vehicles in the way were ticketed but Fargo police say no vehicles were towed.
Anderson says more snow removal remains throughout the city, including the "cutback" of snow piled up around intersections and in open area's that are vulnerable to drifting.
Overnight, street crews also gave fargo streets another shot of the salt brine/beet juice mixture ahead of more snow expected later today.
It makes snow and ice easier to scrape off.
