Moorhead Says "No" To Impound Fee Refund
Moorhead is making tweaks to its snow removal district policy, but that will not include a refund for people who had their vehicles towed last month.

Moorhead is making tweaks to its snow removal district policy, but that will not include a refund for people who had their vehicles towed last month.
The city council voted 4-2 against a measure that would have provided a $50 rebate to the 130 people who had their vehicles towed during the snow removal declaration.
The council decided from now on, emergency declarations will be made by 8:00 AM the day before full-scale plowing, giving people a full 24-hour notice .
The snow removal district brochure is also being rewritten to more clearly state what constitutes a street, road or avenue and where exactly people can park during these snow removal declarations.
