Moorhead city leaders are looking at ways to get streets plowed faster after major snow events.
The discussion comes after some citizen's complained that they didn't see a plow for 48-hours following a 9-inch snowfall earlier this month.
City Manager Mike Redlinger has unveiled a plan calling for all residential streets to get a first pass within 12 hours of a major snow event, and a return pass within 36 hours.
Private contractors would take over plowing the city's 210 cul-de-sacs, freeing up the city to take care of its through streets.
The council has not yet taken action.
