PSC, Xcel Energy, Agree To Outage-Based Refund Program

The Public Service Commission has approved a plan for "performance based rates."

 

 

 

 

If you lose your electricity more than three times within a year and its not a result of weather, you'll receive a $50 credit on the Xcel Energy system in North Dakota.

The Public Service Commission has approved a plan for "performance based rates."

Commission Chairman Brian Kalk says its a result of a series of outages in the Fargo area.

The program has been approved for three years.
