Fire Slows Traffic In Dilworth

A stretch of Highway 10 in Dilworth was closed briefly late Wednesday morning when fire broke out in a metal shed.

A stretch of Highway 10 in Dilworth was closed briefly late Wednesday morning when fire broke out in a metal shed.

Visibility was reduced by smoke.

One person was taken to a hospital for breathing in smoke.

Clay County Sheriff Bill Bergquist says the building is used for car repairs. Its on the south side of Center ave.

Dilworth Fire, FM Ambulance and the Salvation Army responded to the call along with deputies and state troopers.
