Listen up, especially if you have travel plans in the region.

A significant winter storm is likely Sunday into Monday, prompting the National Weather Service in Grand Forks to issue a "Winter Storm Watch".

KFGO forecaster Terry Spies says the exact track of the storm is still a little uncertain but it's likely heavy snow and high winds will make for blizzard conditions.

Spies says right now, snowfall amounts of 6-to-8 inches are likely in the Fargo-Moorhead area.

Again, a "Winter Storm Watch" in effect from late Saturday night through Monday morning, for most of eastern North Dakota and northwest and west central Minnesota.
