A potent storm system will move out of the Pacific northwest Saturday night, headed in our direction.
Snow is expected to move into central North Dakota by late Sunday afternoon, then move into the Devils Lake basin and the southern Red River Valley late Sunday night into Monday.
The snow could continue into Tuesday in the southern Red River Valley.
There is the potential for significant snow accumulations with this storm system. at this time.
It appears that areas from the Devils Lake basin into the southern Red River Valley could receive the most snow.
The exact track of this complex winter storm is still uncertain, and the area of heavier snow could shift to the north or south.
