Temperatures have dropped to the coldest level this winter--down as low as -21 overnight in Fargo--and that doesn't include the windchills that range as low as -40.
There are also a few reports of windchills approaching 50 below this morning.
A Wind Chill Advisory is in effect until noon.
The high today will barely reach above zero but KFGO forecaster Terry Spies says just wait: there's a warm-up in the works.
Tomorrow through at least mid-week, temperatures will rise into the upper teens and low 20's.
Along with the warmer temps, the region can expect some shots of snow.
