Ashes from a fireplace started a blaze inside a Moorhead garbage truck yesterday afternoon.

The fire broke out inside the truck which was parked inside the transfer station on Highway 10 in Moorhead.

Firefighters quickly put out the blaze.

They're urging people to use common sense when disposing of fireplace ashes.
