A clean sweep for democrats in Minnesota's fourth legislative district.
Newcomer Ben Lien will represent Moorhead when the legislature convenes in January.
He defeated Travis Reimche 55-to-45 percent.
The margin of victory about 1700 votes.
That's the house seat formerly held by Morrie Lanning.
He retired after ten years in the legislature.
In district 4-B, incumbant Paul Marquart of Dilworth gets a huge victory over Paul Sandman.
The vote margin about six-thousand.
And in the senate race, former house member Kent Eken--who was re-districted out of his seat--is the new senator from district four.
He defeated former Buffalo Bills defensive end Phil Hanson by about 17-hundred votes.
That's the senate seat democrat Keith Langseth held for years, before he retired.
