Fire Quickly Contained At Moorhead's Pactiv Plant.

Moorhead firefighters feared the worse when they responded to a fire at the Pactiv Plant in the industrial park Saturday about 6:30 A.M.

Moorhead firefighters feared the worse when they responded to a fire at the Pactiv Plant in the industrial park Saturday about 6:30 A.M. But Fire Captain Dave Allen tells KFGO News the fire was contained quickly and put out. Similar to a fire in March that caused heavy damage, Saturday's fire started from from dust build up in an exhaust vent from one of the plant's pulp dryers. There was only minor damage in Saturday's fire,

Pactiv uses recycled paper to make egg cartons.

Fire crews from 9 communities spent 18 hours at the Pactiv fire March 14th.
