If you're a Minnesota resident, there's a good chance you'll be getting a letter from Governor Mark Dayton in the next few days.

The State has kicked-off a campaign urging everyone between the ages of 40 and 65 to starting preparing for long-term care. Craig Roers with the State's Special Task Force says 70-percent of all long-term care is now provided in the home, rather than in a nursing home.

Roers notes state programs like medical assistance don't kick in until a person is basically destitute.
