The University of North Dakota Police Department is asking the public for help as they investigate a sexual assault on campus.
Acting Police Chief Jeff Burgess says the assault happened about 8:30 p.m. Wednesday near a construction site between two residence halls. The victim told police she was returning to her dorm when a male approached her from behind and threw her to the ground.
Burgess says investigators don’t have a lot to go on.
Anyone with information is asked to contact UND police.
