The Alerus Center is gearing up for a crowd of 20-thousand or more for Saturday’s George Strait concert in Grand Forks.

Alerus Operations Manager Jeremy Linstad says with only 3500 parking spaces on site they know they won’t be able to accommodate everyone.

Signs will be posted along major routes directing people to the nearest parking.

Shuttle buses have also been secured at Ralph Engelstad arena and Altru Health parking lots….

Linstad says they are borrowing twelve buses from Fargo to help with shuttle services.

Joining Strait on the “Cowboy Rides Away Tour” is singer Martina McBride.
