GRAND FORKS, N.D. (AP) - One of three people accused of pimping a 17-year-old girl in Grand Forks in 2011 has accepted a plea deal with prosecutors.

Joshua Harry, 27, pleaded guilty to promoting prostitution. The felony carries a maximum prison sentence of five years as opposed to the initial human trafficking charge that carried a maximum term of life in prison without parole.

Plea deals also have been offered to 22-year-old Amanda Stewart and 30-year-old Travis Johnson. They are due in court Thursday.

Harry is to be sentenced April 8. His plea deal calls for a prison term of three years, but a judge must agree.
