Sheriff's Deputy Arrested In Crookston On Burglary Charges

A Walsh County Sheriff's Deputy was arrested early Thursday.

 

 

 

 

A Walsh County Sheriff's Deputy was arrested early Thursday.

Adam Koenig, 22, was found inside a Crookston convenience store. He's facing burglary and criminal damage to property charges. Police say the store's glass door was smashed in with a block ash tray. Koenig had a bloody face, cut eye and a swollen lip. He was wearing a badge on his belt and told police he is a Walsh County Sheriff's Deputy.

Koenig has been with the sheriff's department just over a month.
