A deputy State Fire Marshal will help determine the cause of a blaze that damaged the Hallock Co-op elevator Monday morning.
Sheriff Ken Hultgren says the biggest problem was that the fire line was higher than the elevator’s sprinkler system. Hultgren says a fire hose was attached to an 80 foot crane to help douse the flames. An East Grand Forks ladder truck made the trip to assist with the effort.
