A judge is considering a request to delay work on a high voltage power line between North Dakota and the Twin Cities.

The Public Service Commission has okayed "CAPX 2020," but some landowners want the project delayed until they have more input.

A lawyer for the city of Oxbow and residents of Pleasant Township south of Fargo are challenging the route of the 33-mile North Dakota segment.

District Judge Lisa Fair McEvers is considering the motion to delay construction and has set another hearing for Nov. 27. Xcel Energy is a partner in "CAPX 2020."
