A Fargo man has been arrested in the shooting death of his wife.
Ronald Rogers, 46, is charged with suspicion of murder in the death of Elizabeth Rogers, 40, who died at the couple's south Fargo home on Tuesday night.
Ronald Rogers reported that his wife shot herself during an argument between the two at 3522 30th Ave. so.
Deputy Police Chief Pat Claus says the case turned into a homicide investigation after inconsistent statements from Ronald Rogers and a report from the state medical examiner.
Elizabeth Rogers had been shot in the head.
Her husband is in the Cass County Jail with bail set at $1 million.
The couple had recently moved to Fargo from Idaho.
