UPDATE: Fire Causes Extensive Damage To Fargo Home

Fire heavily damaged a home in southwest Fargo Friday morning.

Fire caused heavy damage to a house in south Fargo Friday morning.

The fire at 4264 Russet ave. was spotted by a neighbor just after 8:30am. No one was home at the time and there were no injuries.

The fire likely started in the basement near a large projection TV. Investigators say an electrical problem may have been the cause.

The Red Cross and Salvation Army are assisting the family.
