Youth Hockey Fundraiser To Give Away 200 Guns

The prize list includes 3 Rock River AR-15 assault rifles.

 

 

 

 

The West Fargo Hockey Association hopes to raise about $90,000 by raffling off 200 guns. Rifles, shotguns and muzzleloaders are being given away.

The prize list also includes 3 Rock River AR-15 assault rifles. Organizer Mike Prochnow says the list is designed to appeal to just about everyone.

Prochnow says planning for the gun raffle began last August--well before December's school shootings in Newtown, CT sparked a nationwide gun debate. Ticket sales are brisk. The drawing is March 15.
