Fire Causes Minor Damage To Fargo Business

Fire broke out at a Fargo business overnight but it did very little damage thanks to a sprinkler system.

 

 

 

 

Fire broke out at a Fargo business overnight but it did very little damage thanks to a sprinkler system.

The fire at the Lavelle Company in the 3100 block of 4th Ave. S. was reported just after 12 A.M. Friday. When fire crews arrived, they discovered that the sprinkler system extinguished the fire in a room used for staining and spray finishing wood.

The fire caused only minor smoke and water damage to the room where it broke out.

It may have been caused by spontaneous combustion of oily rags.
