Legendary Detroit Red Wings public address announcer Budd Lynch has died at the age of 95. The team confirmed the passing of Lynch Tuesday morning.

(Detroit, MI) - Legendary Detroit Red Wings public address announcer Budd Lynch has died at the age of 95. The team confirmed the passing of Lynch Tuesday morning.
Lynch was a member of the Hockey Hall of Fame, the Michigan Sports Hall of Fame and began his career broadcasting Red Wings games on radio in 1949. He had been the P.A. announcer for the Wings since 1985.
Funeral arrangements have not been finalized.
