NDSU's Lambertson Named Summit League Offensive Player Of The Week

North Dakota State University middle hitter Megan Lambertson was named Summit League women's volleyball co-Offensive Player of the Week by the league office.

 

 

 

 

North Dakota State University middle hitter Megan Lambertson was named Summit League women's volleyball co-Offensive Player of the Week by the league office Monday, Oct. 1.

Lambertson, a senior from Litchfield, Minn., hit .508 and averaged 4.11 kills per set as the Bison split a two-match road trip.

She led NDSU to a 3-1 win at Oakland with 16 kills and only two errors in 27 attempts, and followed that with a career-high 21 kills and nine digs in Saturday's five-set loss at Fort Wayne.

It was the third career award and first of the season for Lambertson, who has hit .400 or better in seven of the last eight matches and leads the Summit League-only stats in hitting by 60 points.
