MSU-M Students May Get Break On Impounds

About 50 people turned out for a special parking meeting at MSU--Moorhead.

City Councilman Mark Altenberg arranged the meeting to address parking issues caused by snow removal around the MSUM and Concordia neighborhoods.

Tempers flared when about 130 vehicles were ticketed and towed.

Altenburg said the execution of the parking policy has been terrible.

Altenburg says he plans to make a motion at the next city council meeting to give back $54.00 out of the minimum $95.00 fine.

The rebate would have to be approved by a majority of the council to be approved.
