BISMARCK, N.D. (AP) - A man who was arrested after a fight at a Minot bar has been sentenced on an illegal weapons charge.
Federal authorities charged Shawn Larkin, of Milwaukee, with possession of a firearm and ammunition by a convicted felon.
He pleaded guilty in October.
Authorities say the 30-year-old Larkin was living in Minot at the time of July 14 incident.
Police were investigating a fight at Rooster's Bar when a witness reported that Larkin had a gun in his possession.
Larkin had previous felony convictions for theft and assault on a peace officer.
