BISMARCK, N.D. (AP) - A North Dakota woman who tried to flee police while driving drunk with two teenage passengers in her vehicle says she will plead guilty in federal court.
Kristal Good Bird is charged with child abuse in Indian country.
Authorities say she was speeding on Main Street of New Town on May 21 and crashed her vehicle into a gas pump while trying to elude authorities.
Police say a 14-year-old passenger was injured in the crash and hospitalized overnight for observation.
Good Bird faces a maximum penalty of five years in prison.
